- Access 2 Card
The Access 2 Card provides persons with a disability a personalized card printed with their name and the card’s expiry date. When going to their attraction of choice, they simply need to present the card along with a piece of ID (not required for cardholders who are minors), and their attendant will receive a free ticket. The Access 2 card is accepted at entertainment venues across Canada.
- Aktion Club
An Aktion Club is a community-service group for adults living with disabilities. The mission of Aktion Club is to provide adults living with disabilities an opportunity to develop initiative and leadership, to serve their community, to be included in society, and to demonstrate the dignity and value of citizens living with disabilities.
- Autism Ontario – North Bay & Area Autism Ontario
(incorporated as Autism Society Ontario) is the leading source of information and referral on Autism Spectum Disorders (ASD) and one of the largest collective voices representing the autism community. Members are connected through a volunteer network of chapters across the province of Ontario.

Best Buddies Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing our communities through one-to-one friendships between individuals with intellectual disabilities and students.

Community Living Ontario is a non-profit, provincial association that advocates for people who have an intellectual disability to be fully included in all aspects of community life.
- Hands – The Family Help Network.ca
Hands – The Family Help Network.ca is an accredited organization dedicated to improving the life experiences of families, children, youth, and developmentally challenged adults who need support and guidance. Through our services in mental health, autism, developmental disabilities, and the pre-natal to six years, Hands serves more than 9000 families across Parry Sound, Nipissing, Muskoka, North Bay and Northern Ontario.
- The Community Networks of Specialized Care (CNSC)
The Community Networks of Specialized Care (CNSC) are a way of linking specialized services and professionals to pool their expertise to treat and support adults who have developmental disabilities and mental health needs and/or challenging behaviours (ie. dual diagnosis) in the communities where they live. The Networks bring together people from a variety of sectors including developmental services, health, research, education and justice in a common goal of improving the coordination, access and quality of services for these individuals who have complex needs.

OASIS provides leadership through sharing ideas, information and knowledge, and interacts with government and other organizations on issues affecting its members.
Respiteservices.com assists families of individuals with disabilities to connect with respite options both in and out of home through a Family Registry and a Respite Contractor Database.

The Canadian Association for Community Living is a family-based association assisting people with intellectual disabilities and their families to lead the way in advancing inclusion in their own lives and in their communities. We do this in Canada and around the world by sharing information, fostering leadership for inclusion, engaging community leaders and policy makers, seeding innovation and supporting research. We are dedicated to attaining full participation in community life, ending exclusion and discrimination on the basis of intellectual disability, promoting respect for diversity and advancing human rights to ensure equality for all Canadians.
- The Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing
Community Counselling Centre is a fully accredited, non-profit organization providing professional counselling services and community programs to individuals, couples, and families. The Centre also has public education and consulting services available to community organizations and industry. Our mission is to support the health and wellness of the people of Nipissing and area.
- Ministry of Children and Youth Services’ Student Nutrition Program
Nutritious food helps kids learn. Ontario’s Student Nutrition Program responds to that need. By providing healthy breakfasts, snacks, and lunches at many of our schools, kids are better able to concentrate, and get the most out of – and put the most into – their school day. The program is made possible through volunteers and community partnerships.

Through its programs and services, the Ministry of Community and Social Services: helps adults with a developmental disability live, work and participate in a range of community activities; enforces support orders issued by the courts so that families get the money to which they are entitled; promotes accessibility and works to break down barriers that prevent people with disabilities from fully participating in the social and economic life of Ontario, and helps Ontarians recover from hardship and regain control of their lives.
- Registered Disability Savings Plan
A registered disability savings plan (RDSP) is a savings plan that is intended to help parents and others save for the long-term financial security of a person who is eligible for the Disability Tax Credit.
- Developmental Services Ontario (DSO)
Developmental Services Ontario helps adults with developmental disabilities connect to services and supports in their communities. This is where people with developmental disabilities and their caregivers can learn about developmental services and supports.
